About Me
My name is Monica Basurto, and I have been a home school mom of 4 children for the past 19 years and counting. Believe me when I say that I understand both the complexities and the joys of schooling at home. In addition to schooling my own kids, for more than 12 years I have had the privilege of working alongside other families on their parenting and educational journey by teaching their kids piano, tutoring various subjects, teaching high school students English, Math, and Spanish, and teaching elementary students Language Arts, Math, and more. I have been a charter school approved vendor for over 10 years, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with many years of experience teaching various subjects both in the classroom setting and in private sessions. With myself and my staff of qualified tutors and credentialed teachers, it will be our honor and privilege to work with your students to achieve their highest potential in both music and academics.
